The grounds of Green Gables, established in the early 1920's are a serene eight
acres of landscaped gardens, with a lake formed where a mountain stream
meanders through the property. This provides many peaceful and private
areas to relax in or conduct small working groups. A number of areas complement
any outdoor team building activities.

The Social/Recreation room has billiards,
darts, hookey, and quoits. A selection of board games is ideal for a game
in front of the open fire.There is a large refrigerator for beverages
and 24 hour tea & coffee making facilities.

For those who prefer to curl up in a comfortable chair with a good book or have a quiet conversation we have a separate lounge room.

On the site we have tennis, volleyball, and table tennis, - racquets and balls are available.

In The Local Vicinity:
Golf - The golf Course has 18 holes and is renowned for its beauty and challenging terrain. It is located only 5 minutes drive from Green Gables - clubs can be hired.
Yarra Valley Wineries - These world renowned wineries are situated within 10 - 40 minutes drive. Wine tastings or tours can be arranged.
Bush & River Walks - The area abounds with walking tracks winding along the Yarra river, and in the Yarra Ranges State Park including the new Sky Walk. Maps are available.
Horse Riding - Several Horse riding Ranches Nearby.

For the more adventurous - we can organise experienced leaders to take your group - caving, abseiling, canoeing on the Yarra river or perhaps a guided morning walk to see the local Platypuses or a night walk in the nearby forest to discover the native wild life.
